About Me
My name is Suvrat Jain and I am a computer engineering student at the University of Central Florida with a minor in Intelligent Robotic Systems. My career interests lie in Robotics, Embedded firmware development, and Hardware-Software Integration.
I have been interested in embedded software systems since I was a young child, and my passion was bolstered when I learned of Microcontroller and Microprocessor technologies. The idea of how bare metal can be programmed to automate our day to day tasks efficiently is the main reason for my fascination with technology.
I have been given the opportunity to delve further into the industry through my work with Praxsoft and Universal Creative. PraxSoft Inc. is an environmental research and development vendor for the Florida Department of Transportation. I worked as an Assistant Engineer and helped test, troubleshoot, and solder sensors and printed circuit boards (PCBs). Universal Creative is the design, engineering, project management, and research and development division of Universal Parks & Resorts. I had the opportunity to work as an Engineering Intern and helped conduct and program the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) operations.
As I move forward, I hope to develop into a stronger engineer via future internships and extracurricular projects. Upon graduation, I would like to work in the Internet of Things (IoT) or Robotics industry and simultaneously study further to increase my technical knowledge and help advance the technology that runs our world.
